Actors and How They Act

-- I love Juliet... she's a hoot.
Since 1999, she’s been displaying a darker side as the witch Tabitha Lenox in NBC’s daytime soap “Passions.” “The whole story line was so bizarre. You can’t think about these things too much because they don’t make a lot of sense,” says Mills, who’s 63. “But now I have a beautiful little girl to work with.”

--How very interesting...and chilling. It's like he's a cult leader acting the part of being calm and public on the surface, but hidden rage and violence hidden beneath. CReepy. Damn Scientology. Or maybe he thinks he's Lestat again.
The 42-year-old actor was outside a movie theater in central London’s Leicester Square doing press interviews Sunday when a man squirted Cruise with a water pistol disguised as a microphone, London’s Metropolitan Police said.
Cruise appeared to laugh at the incident but then asked the prankster:
“Why would you do that?”
As the man gave a barely audible excuse, Cruise said: “Do you like thinking less of people, is that it?” The prankster tried to walk away but Cruise reached across the metal barrier, held his arm and said: “Don’t run away. That’s incredibly rude. I’m here giving you an interview and you do that ... it’s incredibly rude.”
The actor grew increasingly irritated and told the man: “You’re a jerk.”

The partying heiress was at a dinner party in L.A., where she took off her engagement ring and passed it around to her friends to let them admire it and try it on for size- a 24-carat yellow diamond, one carat for each of her 24 years.
“Paris was told, ‘That’s a very expensive ring to be passing around like that. Besides, taking off your engagement ring is bad luck,’” according to a source, who says that Paris replied simply, “I don’t have bad luck.”

--Mebbe she ain't as dumb as I thought.
Nicole Kidman
When asked if she saw Cruise’s declaration of love for Holmes on Oprah Winfrey’s show, Kidman told the Sunday Herald Sun: “I saw a little bit of it, but I would never discuss any of that — I have two children whose lives are affected greatly by anything that is done or said. I never have discussed it and I never will.”
“Smart lady,” said one Kidman watcher. “Maybe she was advising Tom more than we thought.”

Ok Maybe Lohan is Cracked and not Cracked Out
During the making of "Herbie," Lohan, a self-described workaholic, recorded her first album at night while acting during the day. She succumbed to exhaustion and caused production to be shut down for a week. What was she thinking?
"I wasn't!" Lohan says. "I know it was crazy. But I was just excited to be making an album. It was a lot of pressure, but I just went with it and ended up not taking care of myself."
"The most dramatic thing I've done was in the video for my song 'Over,'" Lohan says. "I did this scene where I was breaking things and kicking the window in and they were like, 'Don't do that!' and my ankle was bleeding and people were freaking out and I kept going, and I ended up hysterically crying on the floor and everything. That felt so good for me because when you put yourself into that mode, it releases a lot of stress and anger that you may have. That's what I want to find more of."

----- oh... and I was wondering why she said she admired Marilyn Monroe.. now I know.. jeez. BTW- it's called THERAPY. Therapy is better than her acting like she's on meth.
